كان لولد التاني ف فاميلة أرسطقراطية لي كاترجع ل لقرن 16.[1][2] تخصص ف الصناعة د الشومپان بعدما سالا قرايتو. طرات ليه كسيدة ف 1993 ردّاتو مشلل، و بسباب هادشي كان دار محاولة فاشلة د لإنتحار.[3] ف يوليوز 2012، خدا وسام ديال جوقة الشاراف لفرانساوي.[4]
صداقتو لقوية معا لمساعد الجزايري ديالو كانت مصدر إلهام ديال وتائقي ب عنوان "ف لموت ف لحياة" A la vie, à la mort خرج ف 2003،[5] و مجموعة د لأفلام منها ليزانتوشابل Les Intouchables ف 2011،[6] لفيلم لهندي ؤپيري Oopiri و الصبليوني إنسيپارابليس Inseparables ف 2016،[7] و لفيلم لميريكاني ذ أپسايد ف 2017.[8] جميع هاد لأفلام تبازاو على السيرة الداتية ديالو لي كتبها ف 2001 ب عنوان "الريح التانية" Le second souffle.
